PunchOut E-commerce Part 2 – PunchOut with Shopspray in Litium

What is Shopspray?

Shopspray is a PunchOut integration that makes it easy for suppliers to offer their e-commerce as PunchOut – personalized and in real time. The product is designed for manufacturers and distributors and works as a bridge between the online store and the customer’s procurement system.

Shopspray enables a quick start with PunchOut – even if customers use several different procurement systems. Shopspray is available for multiple e-commerce platforms, including Litium Commerce Cloud and Optimizely.

Shopspray is compatible with all major procurement and ERP systems, including:

  • Visma Proceedo
  • SAP Ariba

Login – How Does It Work?

One key advantage with Shopspray is that the user is automatically logged in via their procurement system. This means the correct prices, discounts, contracted products, and other relevant information are displayed immediately – without the customer having to log in manually or navigate through a generic online store.

 

How to Implement PunchOut for Litium Commerce Cloud

If you already have a functioning online store, moving to PunchOut is not a big step. Shopspray provides a ready-made integration for Litium Commerce Cloud, making it simple to get started:

  1. Your Litium partner installs Shopspray’s Litium connector
    (see documentation: Shopspray PunchOut Connector)

  2. Connect your e-commerce to your customer’s procurement system via Shopspray’s settings.

  3. Test the integration together with the customer.

  4. Once everything works smoothly – go live!

 

Tips for a Successful PunchOut Solution

  • Choose a PunchOut solution that can scale with your business and leverages the business logic of your e-commerce, including customer, product, and pricing data.
  • Treat PunchOut as a fully integrated order and sales channel. Avoid solutions that create unnecessary intermediaries by managing PunchOut order data in a middle system.
  • Ensure that the PunchOut solution displays customer-specific prices and products.
